A lifelong animal lover, Stephanie started dog walking and pet sitting at the age of 8, which later expanded into working at a local boarding kennel, veterinarian’s office, and horse-breeding farm.

Now a resident of Falls Church City, Stephanie and her family began volunteering and puppy fostering with Wolf Trap Animal Rescue (WTAR) after adopting their own puppy from the rescue. And while it’s always a joy to have a new puppy in the house, Stephanie especially loves working with prospective adopters to find their best fit; helping set her foster pups up for success through consistent and positive training at home; and working with new adopters and their puppies to help ease the transition into having – and being! – a new family member.

 

It’s with this focus that Stephanie has found her niche training with Unleashed Abilities and working with local families, puppies, and young dogs. Stephanie holds her CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed) designation through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.
